For the third time in the past four seasons, the college TEs entering the NFL are a loaded class of potential starters and significant contributors with the physical attributes and production that NFL teams covert. Although there is only one prospect who ranks as elite – Kenyon Sadiq / Oregon – the TE class offers more than two dozen potential future NFL starters and contributors.

One of the most talented group of LBs in the NFL Scouting Combine’s history will descend on Indianapolis on Thursday and a number of them have something to prove. Several of these prospects played like first-round draft picks last fall but are unlikely to be selected that high in April. LBs are undervalued in today’s NFL and it does not appear that most of these prospects have the combination of desired measureables and elite athleticism to warrant a first-round pick.

The 2026 NFL Draft EDGE class is one of the better classes to enter the NFL in years in terms of both elite talent and excellent depth where eventual starters and major contributors will be found in all seven rounds of the draft and amongst the UDFA class.

The 2026 NFL Draft QB class appears to be one of the weakest group of signal callers to enter the league in decades. There is only one, true potential franchise QB in this year's draft - Fernando Mendoza (Indiana), the Heisman Trophy winner. Mendoza is locked in as the first selection in Pittsburgh on April 23rd but no other QB in the 2026 NFL Draft has earned a first-round grade. In fact, no other QB can safely be called a future starter.

The 2026 NFL Draft OT class is unusually deep with quality starting potential outside pass blockers with the size, length, and lateral agility desired by NFL teams. Eighteen OT made the Big Board 150 with five prospects earning top 33 grades. There are few true franchise OTs in this draft with the top two prospects (Mauigoa and Fano) being ORTs, although Fano could project to the QB's blind side in the NFL.

The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is scheduled to be televised on NFL Network from Thursday, February 26 to Sunday, March 1. The position group TV schedule - Feb. 26: DL, LB, Specialists. Feb. 27: DB, TE. Feb. 28: QB, WR, RB. March 1: OL.

Stack 'N Shed's Super Bowl week mock draft has been released and it reveals where the talent and depth of the 2026 NFL Draft class resides. Fourteen of the 32 first-round draft picks in this mock draft are either OL (OT and IOL) or DL (EDGE or IDL) while only eight picks were used on the skill positions of QB, RB, WR, and TE. Only one QB (Mendoza) and one RB (Love) have earned a first-round grade while five WRs and one TE were selected in round one of this mock draft.

The strongest position group in Mobile this week, top to bottom, are the EDGE Rushers where the majority of the best EDGEs available for April's draft are in attendance this week and several of these prospects look like potential first round picks.

The Senior Bowl participants are overwhelmingly the best declared juniors and seniors available for the NFL Draft - the majority of the top 100 prospects in the NFL Draft play in the Senior Bowl. Many, but rarely all, first round draft picks play in the Senior Bowl. This is especially true regarding the best QBs who historically opt-out of participating. The East-West Shrine Bowl participants are primarily mid-round prospects that should get drafted between the third and sixth rounds of next April's draft. Prospects who excel during practices and in the East-West Shrine Bowl can earn an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, February 26-March 1. There are several quality NFL prospects scheduled to participate. Let's take a look at the position groups and participants scheduled this week in Frisco, Texas.

American Bowl participants are primarily lower level NFL prospects who grade out as late round draft prospects and high level undrafted free agents (UDFA). WR is the most represented position on this Big Board with 14 prospects listed, which indicates the wide array of talent available at the WR position. The best talent of this draft is along the offensive and defensive lines where 38 of the 100 prospects listed are either OTs, IOL (OG and OC), EDGEs, or IDL.

The first college All-Star Game of the postseason, Hula Bowl participants are primarily lower level NFL prospects who grade out as late round draft prospects and high level undrafted free agents (UDFA). Prospects who excel during practices and in the Hula Bowl can earn an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl on 1/27 or the Senior Bowl on 1/31 where the best draft-eligible prospects earn invitations.
