QB
The 2026 NFL Draft QB class appears to be one of the weakest group of signal callers to enter the league in decades. There is only one, true potential franchise QB in this year's draft - Fernando Mendoza (Indiana), the Heisman Trophy winner. No other QB in the 2026 NFL Draft has earned a first-round grade and only eight QBs are ranked amongst the top 150 prospects for April's draft. Teams like the Jets, Cardinals, Dolphins, Rams, and Steelers are unlikely to find any long-term starters in this year's draft. |

TE
Although aside from Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq, a potential top 10 selection in April, there are not any TEs who are likely to earn first-round grades, this TE class offers more than two dozen future NFL starters and contributors. This continues a trend where college football is well-aligned with the NFL in developing TEs. The TE depth looks so deep that several UDFA from this class are likely to have long and productive NFL careers. Ten TEs made the Big Board 150 with the majority of these TEs earning second to fourth round grades. |

OT
The 2026 NFL Draft OT class is unusually deep with quality starting potential outside pass blockers with the size, length, and lateral agility desired by NFL teams. Eighteen OT made the Big Board 150 with five prospects earning top 33 grades. There are few true franchise OTs in this draft with the top two prospects (Mauigoa and Fano) being ORTs, although Fano could project to the QB's blind side in the NFL. Quite a few of these prospects are likely to slide inside to guard or center in the NFL, mostly due to possessing shorter than desired arms (< 33"). |
1. Francis Mauigoa / Miami, Fl |
2. Spencer Fano / Utah |
3. Kadyn Proctor / Alabama |
4. Caleb Lomu / Utah |
5. Max Iheanachor / Arizona State |

LB
The 2026 NFL Draft figures to provide one of the best and deepest groups of LBs to enter the league in years. Twelve LBs made the Big Board 150, including two LBs who have earned first round grades - Arvell Reese (Ohio State), a college LB who is likely to convert to EDGE in the NFL, and Anthony Hill (Texas). A name to keep an eye on as the Combine approaches is Jacob Rodriguez (Texas Tech), who swept nearly every defensive award in the nation while finishing fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting. Rodriguez, currently ranked the number 36 overall prospect, is a productive playmaker who creates havoc regularly on defense. If Rodriguez runs a sub-4.65 40 and moves well during on-field drills in Indianapolis, Rodriguez will likely vault into first-round consideration. |

Specialists
The potential specialists that are available are unlikely to generate a lot of draft buzz and most of the prospects are likely to go undrafted. The top specialists, and likely fifth or sixth round draft picks, are punters Ryan Eckley (Michigan State) and Brett Thorson (Georgia). Both punters look like long-term NFL starters. The kickers are largely a question mark because the best kicking prospects are underclassmen and will be in college next fall. Every kicker listed has a strong leg capable of hitting from 55+ yards but consistency has been an issue for these kickers. |
