The top LB prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft is Sonny Styles / Ohio State, a true athletic freak with a rare combination of size, length, speed, agility, and explosiveness that warrant a top ten selection in April's draft, a noteworthy accomplishment for an off-the-ball LB. The top of this class is loaded with potential top 100 prospects including Jacob Rodriguez / Texas Tech, Anthony Hill / Texas, Jake Golday / Cincinnati, Kyle Louis / Pittsburgh, and CJ Allen / Georgia.

The IDL class is front-loaded with a talented group of potential rookie starters who should be instant contributors in the NFL. Kayden McDonald / Ohio State and Peter Woods / Clemson are the two best IDL prospects in this class and should be top 20 picks on April 23rd. Caleb Banks / Florida would seem to be another first-round lock if it were not for breaking his foot at the combine, a re-aggravation of an injury that cost him all but three games last season.

The 2026 NFL Draft WR class has a nice mixture of bigger WRs with good vertical speed and smaller and shiftier slot receivers who exploit underneath zones and convert third down conversions. Several WRs enter the Combine with questions that need answers or their draft status could take a hit.

For the third time in the past four seasons, the college TEs entering the NFL are a loaded class of potential starters and significant contributors with the physical attributes and production that NFL teams covert. Although there is only one prospect who ranks as elite – Kenyon Sadiq / Oregon – the TE class offers more than two dozen potential future NFL starters and contributors.

One of the most talented group of LBs in the NFL Scouting Combine’s history will descend on Indianapolis on Thursday and a number of them have something to prove. Several of these prospects played like first-round draft picks last fall but are unlikely to be selected that high in April. LBs are undervalued in today’s NFL and it does not appear that most of these prospects have the combination of desired measureables and elite athleticism to warrant a first-round pick.
