The latest SNS mock draft values the positions of depth that NFL teams prioritize. Namely, OT and EDGE are two of the deepest positions in the 2026 NFL Draft - 13 of the 32 picks in this mock draft are either OTs or EDGEs. On the other hand, only six of the 32 first round picks are from "skill" positions of QB, RB, and WR. When the 2025 season began, the QB class was viewed as potentially deep and talented. The 2026 NFL Draft is only beginning to take shape as the regular season wraps up and prospects begin to declare for the draft. Over the next couple of weeks, prospects will start declaring for the draft, accepting post-season all-star bowl game invitations, and accepting invitations to the NFL Scouting Combine. It's mock draft time here at SNS! Although the leaves are only beginning to turn, certain patterns are already setting in about the 2025 NFL season. Four teams clearly need an upgrade at QB - New Orleans, Miami, NY Jets, and Cleveland - but the quality of the 2026 QB class is in question by the performances put on film by the projected top prospects Drew Allar, Garrett Nussmeier, Carson Beck, Cade Klubnik, and Arch Manning so far this season.
