(Arvell) Reese is a projection at this point as an EDGE after playing off-the-ball LB last year in Columbus. Reese is a freak athlete with rare athleticism, strength, size, and speed to be an instant impact player in the NFL.

Mendoza remains the only QB to earn a first-round grade for next month’s draft. Alabama QB Ty Simpson displayed the athleticism and arm strength that makes him the second-best QB prospect in this draft. Simpson could vault into first-round consideration since quality QB prospects are in short supply and demand (think Jets, Browns, Steelers, and Rams) remains sky-high. Which other QBs improved their draft status Saturday afternoon?

The OT class is stocked with athletes with the size, length, power, and agility to handle the speed and power that they will face at the NFL level. Several prospects have questions that need to be answered before an NFL team uses a valuable piece of capital like a draft pick on them.

Stack 'N Shed's Super Bowl week mock draft has been released and it reveals where the talent and depth of the 2026 NFL Draft class resides. Fourteen of the 32 first-round draft picks in this mock draft are either OL (OT and IOL) or DL (EDGE or IDL) while only eight picks were used on the skill positions of QB, RB, WR, and TE. Only one QB (Mendoza) and one RB (Love) have earned a first-round grade while five WRs and one TE were selected in round one of this mock draft.

As we enter the last month of the college season, teams are jockeying for playoff positioning and two games in the SEC and one huge contest in the Big 12 will have a lot of say in who is still in contention for a playoff berth after this weekend.
