Ioane may be the best OL in this draft with both a high ceiling / potential and a high floor where he is very unikely to be a bust. Ioane is athletic and strong and buries people in the ground game. The Ravens addressed a major need with an elite talent.

The Chiefs have two first-round picks - number nine and number 29 (acquired from the Rams in the Trent McDuffie trade) - and several major needs that have to be addressed. A new ORT is needed after the departure of Jawaan Taylor and the overall aging and degradation of the unit over the last few seasons. And after trading McDuffie, there is a need for a starting-caliber CB to step into the mix.

The top of the OT class offers several potential plug and play starters as rookies, although there are more quality ORT prospects than the more coveted blind side protectors. Mendoza remains the only QB to earn a first-round grade for next month’s draft. Stack 'N Shed's Super Bowl week mock draft has been released and it reveals where the talent and depth of the 2026 NFL Draft class resides. Fourteen of the 32 first-round draft picks in this mock draft are either OL (OT and IOL) or DL (EDGE or IDL) while only eight picks were used on the skill positions of QB, RB, WR, and TE. Only one QB (Mendoza) and one RB (Love) have earned a first-round grade while five WRs and one TE were selected in round one of this mock draft.
