Here is a sampling of some of the offensive scouting reports available at stacknshed.com!

Garrett Nussmeier / QB / LSU

6010 / 203 lbs / 9.1” Hands / 30.3” Wingspan

Looks the part with the desired height, frame, and build for the position. Hands are smaller than desired and may be too small for some NFL teams. Son of long time NFL QB Doug, now the Offensive Coordinator for the New Orleans Saints. Plays like you would expect a QB’s son to play – smart, mature, calm, and displaying natural leadership skills. Reads coverages well. Very good pre-snap field vision surveying the defensive alignment. Very good arm strength. Accurate. Throws with good timing and touch. Improving in his ability to throw with anticipation. More of a pocket passer than a mobile threat but can buy time in the pocket with his feet. Good field vision and decision making but is still prone to an occasional poor decision and will force the ball into traffic, an issue that still re-surfaces too often in 2025. Throws well rolling out to either side. Very good fundamentals. Good ballhandler and is adept at play action fakes. Uses pump fake well to freeze pass rushers. Suffers from poor protection from an inexperienced OL in 2025. Vocal team leader. Tough and leads by example. Has not elevated his play when his team has needed it most – 6 TDs and 6 INTs in losses (nearly a 4 TD to INT ratio in wins) in 2024. Team failed to score 25+ points against all FBS opponents through the first nine games of the 2025 season. Benched in the second half against Texas A&M and Alabama and benched in favor of Michael VanBuren for the last three games of the season, partially due to injuries and partially due to performance issues.

STRENGTHS

Desired height, frame, and build for the position

Smart, mature, calm - displays natural leadership skills (QB's son)

Reads coverages well; very good pre-snap field vision

Very good arm strength; accurate; good timing and touch

Improving anticipation; throws well rolling to either side

Good fundamentals; adept at play-action fakes and pump fakes       Vocal team leader; tough and leads by example

WEAKNESSES

Hands smaller than desired (9.1") - concern for some NFL teams

Still prone to forcing passes into traffic

More pocket passer than mobile threat

6 TDs / 6 INTs in losses in 2024 - struggles to elevate play in big games

Team failed to score 25+ points vs any FBS opponent through first 9 games of 2025

Benched in favor of Michael VanBuren for final 3 games of 2025 season

Mike Washington / RB / Arkansas

6004 / 223 lbs / 9.2” Hands / 33.5” Arms / 82”Wingspan

4.33 40 / 1.51 10-yard split / 39” Vertical / 10’8” Broad

Transfer from New Mexico State (via Buffalo). Fantastic size – big, tall, large frame, and well-distributed mass. Very powerful inside runner – drops pads and drives legs. Falls forward in short yardage consistently. Hard to deny in short yardage situations and is effective at being his own blocker. Very good contact balance. Decisive runner with good vision. Impressive burst to and through the hole. Possesses a nice jump cut and lateral agility but does not possess explosive cutting ability. Very good long speed – is a true home run threat. Good route runner out of the backfield who knows how to create separation from LBs in coverage. Lines up out wide in certain sets and has the receiving ability to stay on the field all three downs in the NFL. Very good hand-eye coordination. Fine hands to make the catch while not breaking stride. Rushed for over 1,000 yards as a senior – best season of his career was his one season in the SEC. Most effective way to neutralize him is to make him run east-west and parallel to the LOS where his power and leg drive are neutralized. Seldom used in pass protection – normally runs routes out of the backfield and will require development as a blocker. Needs work on securing the ball through contact.

STRENGTHS

4.33 40 / 1.51 split / 39" vertical / 10'8" broad - elite athleticism

WEAKNESSES

Seldom used in pass protection - requires development as a blocker

Most effective running north-south - neutralized running east-west

Needs to secure ball better through contact

Kadyn Proctor / OT / Alabama

6065 / 352 lbs / 9.6” Hands / 33.3” Arms / 81.5”Wingspan

5.21 40 / 1.84 10-yard split / 32.5” Vertical / 9’1” Broad / 25 reps (225 lbs)

Enormous man with prototypical height, well-distributed mass, grapevines for arms, and a gigantic wingspan. Former 5-star recruit who has started at OLT since he walked on campus. Despite size, moves easily and has an easy kick slide. Light on his feet, plays with good bend and leverage, and is very athletic for his size. Only average twitch and first step quickness and can be beaten off the snap by a twitchy EDGE. Surprisingly effective blocker in space. When he extends and locks out, it takes an Uber ride to get around him. Very good balance. Re-directs easily and handles blitzes and stunts well. Needs better depth in his pass drops to cut off speed rushers from countering and getting past his inside shoulder. Possesses a strong punch that can rock a defender backwards but needs work on placement and consistency - hands are too easily discarded. Needs to improve grip strength. Nearly impossible to bull rush when he drops his pads adequately. Pads rise when he is tired and when he is tired, he gets beat late in the rep. Exhibits the mean streak and nastiness desired in offensive lineman. Used as a short yardage runner in some situations and is a truly scary sight running the ball – powerful is an understatement. Looks like a long-term NFL starter with Pro Bowl potential if he refines his technique. Participated in NFL Scouting Combine after the season.
