2025 Draft Strategy

The Super Bowl champions enter the 2025 NFL Draft without a single significant hole to fill on a roster that is loaded with impact players and plenty of depth. The Eagles can truly select the "Best Player Available" with the last pick of the first round. Likely, one of the top prospects will fall down draft boards and present Philly with a gift. Even more assuredly, the Eagles will work the phones and be a willing trade partner to any team wanting to move on draft day. The Eagles need to start looking for an eventual successor to ORT Lane Johnson and this draft offers plenty of options at #32. Jonah Savaiinaea (Arizona), Josh Simmons (Ohio State), and Josh Conerly (Oregon) all would be logical picks for Philadelphia. And if a Georgia defender falls down the draft board and is available at the end of first round, like EDGE Mykel Williams or S Malaki Starks, the Eagles are likely to add to their Bulldog defensive collection - a scary proposition for the rest of the NFC.
