2025 Draft Strategy
The Giants entered the last week of the season in position to secure the first overall selection but tumbled to third after winning their finale. NY has signed QBs Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson and no longer have to feel required to draft a QB. With that comes the ability to address the other glaring holes, especially along the offensive line and in the secondary. Travis Hunter would seem to be an ideal fit as a potential starting CB with the enticing prospect of lining up opposite of WR Malik Nabers on offense. Otherwise, the Giants should consider adding one of the three top OT prospects available - Kelvin Banks (Texas), Armand Membou (Missouri), or Will Campbell (LSU). Later in the draft, NY should consider adding a young EDGE and a couple of DBs to add to the team's overall speed. Drafting a developmental QB such as Kyle McCord (Syracuse), Quinn Ewers (Texas), or Riley Leonard (Notre Dame) would be good use of draft capital.
