2025 Draft Strategy

The Jags are rebuilding after falling on hard times over the last season and a half and since they already have their QB, could go a number of ways with the fifth pick. Jacksonville needs to improve the quality of the offensive line and would address that need with the drafting of one of the premiere OTs available in Kelvin Banks (Texas), Will Campbell (LSU), or Armand Membou (Missouri). Considering the depth of potential starting caliber OTs available in this draft, the Jags may decide to select the top WR available to pair with Brian Thomas on the outside - either Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona) or if still available, Travis Hunter (Colorado), who would also address a need at CB. The Jags may also want to consider drafting IDL Mason Graham (Michigan) at #5 and placing a potential Pro Bowler in the middle of their DL. In later rounds, the Jags need to acquire a quality CB, a safety prospect, a TE, and some young OL to improve Trevor Lawrence's protection.
