2025 Draft Strategy
Green Bay mostly sat out free agency this year, focusing on re-signing their own players and concentrating on the draft process instead. The Packers need to replace the departed Jaire Alexander at CB and brought in Nate Hobbs during the off season but using the 23rd pick on a CB would be a good use of draft capital. Maxwell Hairston (Kentucky), Jahdae Barron (Texas), and Quincy Riley (Louisville) are all excellent candidates to go #23 overall. Outside of the CB position, the Packers have no huge holes to fill and can execute the "draft the best player available" strategy with their remaining picks - although drafting a couple of CBs makes a lot of sense. Look for the Packers to select a WR and an IOL with some of their mid round picks later this month.
