2025 Draft Strategy
Buffalo has as talented of a roster as any in the AFC but they cannot seem to get past their personal demon known as the Kansas City Chiefs. Addressing the CB position (Maxwell Hairston (Kentucky), Quincy Riley (Louisville), Azareye'h Thomas (Florida State)) or IOL (Tyler Booker (Alabama), Grey Zabel (North Dakota State), Donovan Jackson (Ohio State) at the end of the first round would seem to make sense. A top notch ball hawk, like Notre Dame's Xavier Watts, would make the safeties a more impactful group. The Bills may also want to consider drafting a quick-footed WR in the mid rounds to utilize out of the slot. Candidates include Jaylin Lane (Virginia Tech), Jimmy Horn (Colorado), or Tez Johnson (Oregon). Drafting a kicker in the late rounds to challenge Tyler Bass, who struggled at times last year, should also be considered. Top kickers in this class include Ben Sauls (Pittsburgh) and Tyler Loop (Arizona).
