The 2024 NFL Draft looks to have one of the deepest and most talented group of QBs to enter the league in decades. This class is led by the former USC and Oklahoma QB, Williams, a potential generational talent that is the highest rated QB to enter the draft since Andrew Luck. There could be as many as seven QBs selected in the first round and more than a dozen that could be drafted in Detroit in April.

29.  Jabari Small / Tennessee

30.  George Holani / Boise State

There are no prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft that rate as highly as Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs did last year but there is plenty of quality depth available with potential starters to be found deep into day 3 of the draft (rounds 4-7).  There are power backs (Estime, Allen, Fenwick, Guerendo), every down backs (Lloyd, Corum, Shipley, Schrader, Davis), and quick, third down RBs (Watson, Gore, Tracy) available in April with quality depth to be found in all seven rounds.

31.  Jalen Calhoun / Duke

32.  Tayvion Robinson / Kentucky

33.  Adonai Mitchell / Texas

34.  Joshua Cephus / UTSA

35.  Jacob Cowing / Arizona

36.  Hayden Hatten / Idaho

37.  Tre Mosley / Michigan State

38.  Devin Carter / West Virginia

39.  Cornelius Johnson / Michigan

40.  Bub Means / Pittsburgh

The 2024 WR class is led by a special talent in the second-generation Marvin Harrison Jr., who is a bigger, stronger, and faster version of his Hall of Fame father. This class has both top end talent (12 prospects have first round grades) and great depth with at least 40 WRs who receive a draftable grade. This should be one of the better WR classes to emerge in the last decade.

TE

1.     Brock Bowers / Georgia

2.     Ja’Tavion Sanders / Texas

3.     Brevyn Spann-Ford / Minnesota

4.     Cade Stover / Ohio State

5.     Isaac Rex / BYU

6.     Theo Johnson / Penn State

7.     Jaheim Bell / Florida State

8.     Jared Wiley / TCU

9.     Jack Westover / Washington

10.  Ben Sinnott / Kansas State

11.  Dylan Leonard / Georgia Tech

12.  George Takacs / Boston College

13.  Trey Knox / South Carolina

14.  Max Wright / Texas A&M

15.  AJ Barner / Michigan

Last year’s TE class was remarkable in both quality and depth with several 2023 TEs becoming NFL starters as rookies (LaPorta, Kincaid, Musgrave, Kraft). The 2024 class is back to reality with few blue-chip prospects available although Bowers and Sanders both look like potential Pro Bowlers. Bowers is the best TE prospect scouted in decades.

OT

1.     Olu Fashanu / Penn State

2.     Joe Alt / Notre Dame

3.     Jordan Morgan / Arizona

4.     Troy Fautanu (OG) / Washington

5.     Kingsley Suamataia (OG) / BYU

6.     Walter Rouse / Oklahoma

7.     Patrick Paul / Tulane

8.     Christian Jones / Texas

9.     Taliese Fuaga / Oregon State

10.  Blake Fisher / Notre Dame

11.  Amarius Mims / Georgia

12.  Tyler Guyton / Oklahoma

13.  Delmar Glaze / Maryland

14.  JC Latham / Alabama

15.  Brandon Coleman (OG) / TCU

16.  Andrew Coker / TCU

17.  Javon Foster / Missouri

18.  Roger Rosengarten / Washington

19.  Cameron Wire / Tulane

20.  Caedan Wallace / Penn State

Any team in need of a blind-side blocker, this draft looks to provide some quality options at the top of the draft. Fashanu, Alt, and Morgan should get top 10 consideration in April. Fautanu and Coleman are experienced college OLTs who may slide inside to OG in the NFL. Overall, there is both quality high-end prospects and plenty of depth available in April.

IOL

1.     Cooper Beebe / Kansas State

2.     Christian Haynes / UCONN

3.     Christian Mahogany / Boston College

4.     Zak Zinter / Michigan

5.     Sedrick Van Pran-Granger / Georgia

6.     Zach Frazier / West Virginia

7.     LaDarius Henderson (OT) / Michigan

8.     Kenneth Horsey / Kentucky

9.     Javion Cohen / Miami, Fl

10.  Drake Nugent / Michigan

11.  Layden Robinson / Texas A&M

12.  Trevor Keegan / Michigan

13.  Jackson Powers-Johnson / Oregon

14.  Bryan Hudson / Louisville

15.  Doug Nester (OT) / West Virginia

16.  Maurice McIntyre / Duke

17.  Matthew Jones / Ohio State

18.  Jack Freeman / Houston

19.  Nick Samac / Michigan State

20.  Beaux Limmer / Arkansas

The IOL class has both blue chip talents (Beebe, Haynes, Mahogany, Zinter) and plenty of depth. Notable are the number of quality potential starting centers available in April including Van Pran-Granger, Frazier, Nugent, Powers-Johnson, Hudson, Freeman, Samac. and Limmer. They all have plenty of college experience and should compete for playing time as early as their rookie years.

EDGE

1.     Jared Verse / Florida State

2.     Dallas Turner / Alabama

3.     Laiatu Latu / UCLA

4.     Chop Robinson / Penn State

5.     Bralen Trice / Washington

6.     Chris Braswell / Alabama

7.     Ron Stone / Washington State

8.     Tre’Mon Morris-Brash / UCF

9.     Brennan Jackson / Washington State

10.  Brandon Dorlus / Oregon

11.  Adisa Isaac / Penn State

12.  Zion Tupuola-Fetui / Washington

13.  Eric Watts / UCONN

14.  Jonah Elliss / Utah

15.  Braiden McGregor / Michigan

16.  Xavier Thomas / Clemson

17.  Jaylen Harrell / Michigan

18.  Anthony Goodlow / Oklahoma State

19.  Trajan Jeffcoat / Arkansas

20.  Khalid Duke / Kansas State

The 2023 NFL Draft featured a deep and talented group of Edge Rushers led by NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Will Anderson but this year’s draft class has neither the depth nor top end talent of the 2023 class. That is not to say that there is a lack of talent in the 2024 draft class. Verse is well-rounded and experienced college DE, Turner has an explosive closing burst, Latu has a great first step, and Robinson is just beginning to tap his immense talent.

IDL

1.     Mekhi Wingo / LSU

2.     Kris Jenkins / Michigan

3.     Jer’Zhan Newton / Illinois

4.     Ruke Orhorhoro / Clemson

5.     T’Vondre Sweat / Texas

6.     Tyler Davis / Clemson

7.     Keith Randolph / Illinois

8.     Maason Smith / LSU

9.     DeWayne Carter / Duke

10.  Braden Fiske / Florida State

11.  Fabian Lovett / Florida State

12.  McKinley Jackson / Texas A&M

13.  Leonard Taylor / Miami, Fl

14.  Logan Lee / Iowa

15.  Michael Hall / Ohio State

16.  Myles Murphy / North Carolina

17.  Byron Murphy / Texas

18.  Jordan Jefferson / LSU

19.  Jordan Miller / SMU

20.  Justin Eboigbe / Alabama

The 2024 NFL Draft features one of the deepest drafts for IDL seen in decades. This is also where you’ll see the biggest differences amongst draft analysts regarding how they stack their draft boards. What is clear is that the top eight to ten IDL available in April are candidates to start as rookies. Wingo, Jenkins, and Newton are exceptionally quick while Sweat, Myles Murphy, and Miller look like potential elite run stuffers. Don’t be surprised if as many as six of these prospects go in the first round in Detroit in April.

LB

1.     Cedric Gray / North Carolina

2.     Marist Liufau / Notre Dame

3.     Junior Colson / Michigan

4.     Edgerrin Cooper / Texas A&M

5.     Tommy Eichenberg / Ohio State

6.     Jeremiah Trotter / Clemson

7.     Payton Wilson / North Carolina State

8.     Jaylan Ford / Texas

9.     JD Bertrand / Notre Dame

10.  Trevin Wallace / Kentucky

11.  Curtis Jacobs / Penn State

12.  Nick Jackson / Iowa

13.  Kalen DeLoach / Florida State

14.  Steele Chambers / Ohio State

15.  Nathaniel Watson / Mississippi State

16.  Aaron Casey / Indiana

17.  Jett Johnson / Mississippi State

18.  Jordan Strachan / South Carolina

19.  Jacoby Windmon (Edge) / Michigan State

20.  Edefuan Ulfoshio / Washington

The 2024 class of off the ball and inside LBs is intriguing with several potential starters available. There are no superstars but plenty of athletic and rangy LBs – Gray, Liufau, Colson, Cooper – and solid, run stuffers – Eichenberg, Trotter, Bertrand - that figure to be potential long-term NFL contributors.

CB

1.     Cooper DeJean / Iowa

2.     Kool-Aid McKinstry / Georgia

3.     Nate Wiggins / Clemson

4.     Terrion Arnold / Alabama

5.     Kalen King / Penn State

6.     Quinyon Mitchell / Toledo

7.     Quincy Riley / Louisville

8.     Mike Sainristil / Michigan

9.     Dwight McGlothern / Arkansas

10.  Renardo Green / Florida State

11.  Kris Abrams-Draine / Missouri

12.  Kamari Lassiter / Georgia

13.  Ryan Cooper (S) / Oregon State

14.  DJ James / Auburn

15.  Cam Hart / Notre Dame

16.  Ennis Rakestraw / Missouri

17.  Max Melton / Rutgers

18.  Gabe Jeudy-Lally / Tennessee

19.  Christian Roland-Wallace / Alabama

20.  Jarrian Jones / Florida State

21.  Beanie Bishop / West Virginia

22.  Josh Wallace / Michigan

23.  Deantre Prince / Ole Miss

24.  Ro Torrence / Arizona State

25.  Tarheeb Still / Maryland

26.  Jahdae Barron / Texas

27.  Chau Smith-Wade / Washington State

28.  TJ Tampa / Iowa State

29.  Ja’Quan Sheppard / Maryland

30.  Storm Duck / Louisville

The CB class has decent overall depth but lacks any sure-fire, can’t miss prospects. However, from a historical stand point, this draft class is noteworthy. DeJean, the best CB in the nation, could become the first white man to start at CB in the NFL since Jason Sehorn retired after the 2003 season and the first white CB to be selected in the first round of the draft in decades. DeJean has the length, short area reaction skills, quickness, and ball skills to become a true #1 CB in the NFL.

S

1.     Tyler Nubin / Minnesota

2.     Malachi Moore / Alabama

3.     Calen Bullock / USC

4.     Cole Bishop / Utah

5.     Kitan Oladapo / Oregon State

6.     Jaden Hicks / Washington State

7.     James Williams (LB) / Miami, Fl

8.     Trey Taylor / Air Force

9.     Sione Vaki / Utah

10.  Josh Proctor / Ohio State

11.  Tykee Smith / Georgia

12.  Kenny Logan / Kansas

13.  Akeem Dent / Florida State

14.  Javon Bullard / Georgia

15.  Kamren Kinchens / Miami, Fl

16.  Beau Brade / Maryland

17.  Jaylen Key / Alabama

18.  Mark Perry / TCU

19.  Evan Williams / Oregon

20.  Jalyn Phillips / Clemson

The 2024 safety class is one of the better classes of safeties to enter the NFL in years. There are more than a dozen prospects who look like potential starters. Nubin, Bullock, Oladapo, James Williams, and Vaki offer great size and athleticism. Moore has solid slot CB attributes while Bishop, Hicks, Taylor, Proctor, Logan, and Dent look like classic free safeties. The 2024 NFL Draft safety class has a little bit of everything for NFL teams in need of help.

Specialists

1.     Tory Taylor / P / Iowa

2.     Will Reichard / K / Alabama

3.     Harrison Mevis / K / Missouri

4.     Ryan Sanborn / P / Texas

5.     James Turner / K / Michigan

Taylor looks like a future Pro Bowler with fantastic leg strength and touch. Reichard is extremely reliable with a good leg capable of hitting from 50+ yard FGs. Mevis made a SEC record 61-yard FG last season. Sanborn has a strong leg and gets good hang time on his punts. Turner is an experienced and reliable kicker at Louisville and last season at Michigan.
