Workouts to Keep an Eye On –

It’s unlikely that either Bowers or Sanders participates fully in combine activities, but both are great athletes and excellent prospects. Of the TEs who are likely to fully work out on Friday, Johnson is the prospect most likely to impress due to his untapped size and athleticism. DeJean is unlikely to work out as he recovers from surgery. Mitchell may solidify his status as the best CB prospect in this draft with a good performance on the field. Specifically, if his 40 time cracks the 4.35-4.39 range, he could go in the Top 10 in April. Jackson offers outstanding size and length that every press coverage scheme wants to utilize on an island. If he runs well (sub-4.6 40) and moves fluidly during on field drills, he could be drafted late in round one in April.  Bullock was a 5-star, mega recruit who has teased his immense potential at USC but has not been as consistent and productive as hoped. The combine makes the perfect environment for Bullock to display his size, athleticism, and movement skills. He could make himself a lot of money on Friday. Williams is in an interesting prospect as he was the nation’s top high school safety prospect but whose size and build seem better suited to LB in the NFL. Williams is a great athlete who could excel during on the field drills. Expect the Hurricane prospect to work out at both LB and DB on Friday.
