Transfer from Oregon. Former WR who converted to safety. 7th year senior and first year as a starter. Excellent height with a solid frame and adequate mass. Extremely long arms and possesses a significant reach. Has a long, wiry build. Good range to handle Cover 2 responsibilities. Very good speed – could play as a single high safety due to his speed and range. Plays the ball in the air well and has developing ball skills – recorded two INTs and five passes defensed in 2024. Very good hands – extends and snags the ball like a WR. Very good in zone coverage where he can read the QB’s eyes and jump the route (see pick six v Oregon). Lack of size and strength leads him to fall off too many tackle attempts. Improving his strength would aid his coverage ability on TEs.
