Transfer from Tennessee. Looks the part with the build, length, and frame desired for a 4-3 DE. Possesses a large wingspan. Lines up in both a two and three-point stance. Flashes a very quick first step and is typically one of the first players to respond at the snap. Effective in taking on the blocker and shedding the block with strong hands. Very athletic and fluid. Rangy and fast with the skill set to project to OLB, although he looks a bit lost moving backwards and seems most comfortable going forward and rushing the passer. Has a very nice spin move. Displays an effective closing burst on the QB or ball carrier. Smart, aware, and assignment responsible. Sets a strong edge but can get washed out of the play when isolated on a strong OL. Lacks discipline in some pass rushes, gets over aggressive and lets the QB get outside the pocket.
