Transfer from Texas A&M. Excellent height and frame with solid mass – prototypical NFL size for a 4-3 DE. Good wingspan. Very good foot speed and range – hustles and pursues hard from the back side. Light feet and can slip through gaps left by the OT – flashes agility seldom seen in a man his size. Athletic and fluid enough to drop into a zone but instincts are not developed and he seems somewhat lost in coverage. Light feet allow him to spy athletic QBs. Attempts to set a strong edge but can be washed out by a physical OL. Athleticism and agility are clear on film but production is middling and he has never played up to his hype or potential.
