Excellent ball skills with five INTs and nine passes defensed this past season. Solid vertical jump and competes at the catch point aggressively. Plays bigger than his size and is physical in man coverage. Good tackler who does not shy from contact. Closes quickly on the ball in front of him. Not as quick-twitched and explosive in man coverage where tightness in hips is exposed by speed in space. Plays best in zone coverage where he can read the QB’s eyes, anticipate the throw, and jump the route.
