2025 Draft Strategy

The Chargers are being built in the image of their coach Jim Harbaugh as a gritty, hard-nosed bunch that earns their living with physical and brutish playing style. The offensive line already meets those specifications but the defensive line needs some reinforcements after Joey Bosa signed with the Bills. LA should consider one of the top EDGEs that should be available at #22 like Texas A&M's Nic Scourton or Shemar Stewart or an IDL like Michigan's Kenneth Grant with their first round pick. Later in the draft the Chargers should look at adding one of the talented RBs to supplement Najee Harris. Ollie Gordon (Oklahoma State), Damien Martinez (Miami, Fl), Cam Skattebo (Arizona State), and Donovan Edwards (Michigan) are all quality mid to late round draft picks. LA needs to improve the speed and the depth of the LB corps and should look to do that in the later rounds this April.
